Dash Surpassed Most Transactions Record

The stress test was held on 11th of November 2018, on the Dash network. it had been a community-driven stress test of the Dash blockchain and was live on the stresstest.mydashwallet.org.

According to Mark Mason, the director of Media & PR at Dash, the previous stress test was held in July of this year and managed to record 700,000 transactions during a single day. It suggests that the current record of 3.5 million is 5 times higher that is quite impressive.

Bitcoin cash BCH held the previous most Transactions record at 2.1 million transactions in 24 hours.

Mark Mason took to Twitter to express his delight tweeting:

“I would like to thank Delta engine and MyDashWallet for orchestrating the test, the final transaction count for the 24-hour period was over 3 million, which is a new record ever and an all-time high in the number of transactions in the Bitcoin-based blockchain.”

He goes on to state that the stress tests don't seem to be only for bragging rights. they must push the Bitcoin-based blockchain to its limits by identifying the problem they need to improve upon.

Mark Mason adds that this is just the beginning and those that thought on chain scaling was impossible in the past now have been proved wrong.
